CALL一詞的消失

最近在CALL這個領域上，常不小心就看到invisible或是normalisation這樣的詞，似乎是跟CALL未來發展的趨勢有關。在Kern(2006)文章中有一段話確實值得深思：

For Bax, the success of CALL integration will be marked by the disappearance of the term CALL.

(根據Bax(2003)所提的normalisation，其文中還揭示了normalisation可能會經歷的過程)
確實如此。Warschauer(1999)也說了，我們沒有BALL(book-assisted language learning), PALL(pen-assisted language learning)，也沒有LALL(library-assisted language learning)，所以真正整合好的科技是看不到的(invisible)。
